Hi Peter
Thank you for this nice setup.
Could you use barndoors in place of V-flats on your backlights to protect the back wall ? (I find it more convenient to manipulate)
Regards
Jean-Claude
Hi Jean, no worries at all. You can use barndoors to a point, but you can’t get the spread of light to hit the subject and not hit the wall, you have to bring barn doors in from top and bottom as well. Hope that helps, Peter.
Like the lighting you have created in this Peter really suits the shapes and move the dancers are creating.
Thank you so much
Im a bit confused .
The Beauty dish is your key light and the large Octa hanging above is being used for fill light ???
I don’t light in a way deciding what is a key light, I used the beauty dishes to add light to their faces and then used the large Octa as a shadow fill. The way work is by adding a light, and then if I need to add a second light it’s to fix any problems the first light caused. I hope that makes sense
Is that the Hasselblad you are using here??
Yes I was using the H6D-50c
