Puts my 12×32 to shame.
I’ve got my eye on some warehouses in the future.
Maybe one day once I have the big studio you might want to use it.
It could happen.
The dream, a beautiful studio with several cycloramas, bay windows for natural light. wowww I love.
all in a shed nothing like the studio of my dreams.
One day I hope to have one and can invite you to do a workshop in my studio :).
Great respect for what you build up in the years. You are very inspirational. I know that something like this is impossible to reach for me but I pick up those little things from your work, workflow and studio environment that are possible for me. I’m trying to look what is possible instead of thinking I can only do this or that if I have something like Peter Coulson.
13 years ago when I first saw this dirty warehouse with a rent I couldn’t really afford, I said to myself I cant believe I have this place as a studio. I didn’t think I would have a studio like this for at least another 10 years.
It proved to me if you set some targets and goals they just happen 🙂 Peter
Hi Peter, could I ask how you found (or have them constructed) these grills with wheels that you have to carry all your lights?
We are constructing our new studio and would like to have the same.
I have to say Peter, I watched the “Studio Tour” video and I was particularly interested when you unlocked the Emergency Exit padlock. I don’t know how they do it in Australia, but in the US you would be fined $1000’s of dollars for padlocking an emergency exit.
We have 3 exits and two emergncy exits, becuase the and locks don’t work we have to padlock them, and the emergency exit’s also open inwards instead of outwards. We have the fire department come in twice a year and sign off on it.
Hello Peter , My name is Nirmal, I am from Canda, Vancouver. I love your work, its incredible. You really have fantastic studio, really love the natural light and open space . I wanted to ask you as what would you recommend the ideal studio size should be in term of Length ,Width & Height. I am planning to have a Studio work space soon. Thank you
Hi Nirmal, thank you so much, really appreciate it. There is no formula for the length, width & height, the ideal size should be the biggest you can afford

Love that window light – created several shoots in my mind just by imagining the infinite ways they can be used.
Wow such an amazing space Peter.
WOW, INCREDIBLE!
Damn, your studio is huge. Well done.
How wonderful is it! I don’t think this video does it justice

Hi Altun I had the stands custom built for me.

Thank you, this answered so many questions I was wondering about…
Do you also have a video where you show how you build the white wooden floor?
No we don’t sorry
