Shay Headshot Retouch
During this shoot, Peter and Shay were trying to get a certain type of headshot that is very emotional and not something they usually shoot together. Peter started off just letting Shay do her thing and go through her regular posing, but then changing things up to micro posing her and teaching her some tricks that by moving different parts of her body, it changes her entire mood and facial expression. This is followed by a retouch from the shoot.

Finally had the time to watch both of these tutorials together. It really helped me understand the flow of the shoot and how it affected the editing. Your ‘rant’ on camera settings was spot-on. Time invested alone with no pressure is so important. I must try to build my own action, like yours, which you start all edits with!
