Shay Indie
During her travels around the world, Shay dropped into the studio to do a couple shoots with us. She has a great eye for fashion and styling, so Peter gave her full reign of the wardrobe and studio and she put together an outfit + put this set together with a background and some props around the studio. Peter then lit it just using an LED light and the two of them started creating. Peter then decided to do something completely out of the box and put some sticky tape on his lens!

Very cool, love this style more than I expected. What is the link to Shay’s work?

Great and inspiring video, Peter! Sure can use some of what I learned for my next shoots!

Thanks so much
No camera clubs for me thanks! This is way more cool. Thanks Peter, Shay and of course Behind-The-Scenes Bec.
Thanks Steve, art is definitely more fun than camera clubs 🙂
You nailed it. I love how you step out of the box. Gives more ideas on upcoming shoots.
Thanks so much, hope your upcoming shoots go well 🙂
I adore Shay, favorite model you shoot with by far. I really want to get into this style of photography but everything I shoot on my Sony always ends up coming out too clean and perfect and then it just doesn’t look right when you try to mess it up in post.
Try finding some old lenses that you can adapt to the Sony
hey Peter and Rara that was just amazing definitely given me inspiration for future shoots
ive got a clay baked model shoot coming up will look at shooting this at some point in the shoot thanks again
Thank you
opps my bad sorry Shay
The use of cello tape (scotch tape in the US) was a great effect. Great idea though putting that blade so close to that lovely Leica lens was scary!
Shay is so on point in all your shoots together, expressive , confident . Love seeing you work together
Thanks so much
