Domini is a beautiful travelling art nude model from Czechia, she contacted Peter on Instagram a few months ago letting us know she was planning an Australian tour and we were really excited to work with her!
One of the only good things to come from this pandemic was that her flight home was cancelled so we got to fit this second shoot in, which Peter shot for Domini’s Patreon but then changed it up for his own folio too. As this was their second shoot, Peter had already ‘broken’ her (getting her to model the way he likes models to move) which you will see in the way she drifts in front of the camera and does not hold poses.

Seeing your photography gives me so much energy that I can barely sit at the computer desk. The last part was really great. The use of a simple bare bulb flash and a v-flat gave excellent results in lighting. And this lighting was completed with the right model guidance.

Now I have figure out how to get a concrete wall in my apartment where I shoot because that was next level awesomeness. The 3rd look was so good it hurt…lol.

I love the way you coaxed her into strength instead of sexy – such a great look for women. Your shooting style is unique and I’m still trying figure out how to integrate some of your style into mine. Does Domini have a sister?
Thank you, strength is a much better look on women in my opinion 🙂 I always ask models if they’d rather be Angelina Jolie or Paris Hilton and they always pick Angelina.
Just keep shooting & practicing and the more you do it you’re own style will develop. And I’m not sure if Domini has a sister sorry

When you shoot tethered are you sending raw files straight to the computer? The speed is impressive even when I have seen you work to your laptop. Is that particular to your blad or can you get similar speed from your Sony?

Yes when I’m tethering I’m sending RAW files straight to the computer, and yeah the speed is a Hasselblad Phocus thing, it’s the fastest tethering program, the Sony & Capture One are quite slow
I can see a tribute to Helmut Newton in the third shooting. We all want to take that photograph.
