Anne Duffy Retouching
This tutorial is from a recent shoot with fine art nude model Anne Duffy. Peter has an ongoing joke with a lot of the nude models he works with that he will find them a rock to lay on, which is not his typical style (he prefers to put bunny heads on them), so running with the joke he created a faux rock out of blocks and grey paper for Anne to lie on!
The fly-on-the-wall tutorial is followed by an interview with Anne, plus Peter’s image selection and retouching.

Liked this one, nice shift from some of the other looks, interesting idea to try out sometime. I think it’s helpful when Peter comments on what a certain look means versus just technicals/settings etc. We can learn the mechanics but it’s the thought process that inspires…:). Cheers, RJ.
Did Anne use any oil or lotion to get the shine on her body?
NO just the lighting and retouching
This was a nice change, shooting for the form and not the expression. Reminds me of all of the life drawing classes in college, where you learn to appreciate the aesthetic of form, shadow and light. Thanks Peter and thanks to Bec the human flag…
Also, thanks for not editing out the zombie bit! LOL
Thanks
