Muse
Over the years, a lot of models that Peter has worked with have grown to become his muses. In this video, Peter talks about his muses over the years, their history working together and shows you all of the work he has done with them.

Thanks for sharing your muse history, and philosophy. Thanks for making us think.
Thank you Peter,
All these images are extraordinary, they all give off something special and at the same time there is never a resemblance between them.
The atmosphere and the light are always sublime. And your muses are extraordinary, all as much as each other.
Thank you so much for your sharing, the inspiration you provide.
Awesome insight into parts of your journey Peter. Fantastic body of work which found inspiration from yourself and your Muse due to the trust and growth in the reationships. Really enjoyed this.
I’ve been trying to achieve this for the past couple of years, without success. What with Covid-19 and difficulties in finding models at all over the past year or so, let alone a muse.
Trouble is, in the UK, it is assumed that a muse is someone to have sex with and take some pictures as a side line.
I decide in 2018/19 to take pictures of people rather than landscapes, with the above problems…
I continue to search for a muse [but have stopped using the word]…
Thank you for sharing, it is good to have my chosen path validated by a third party. Cheers
I enjoyed this so much ! So grateful for all I’ve learned from you over the years. So grateful I found you ! The first time I saw your YouTube channel, i was amazed at the black and white focus only because I cut my teeth on
B&W film. I’d forgotten how much I love B&W. Best to Bec. Hope you are both happy and healthy ! Cheers
Thank you so much, really appreciate it
Really enjoyed this story. Very inspiring. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thanks Peter, this was an amazing brief journey through your photographic history. The images are absolutely spectacular.
Thanks heaps
Thanks Peter,
Really enjoyed this video. You are beyond talented as well as all your muse.
I’m sure I well watch this again. Lots of great info.
Thanks so much
Great to see you going through your work like this.
Thanks Peter,
Tons of wonderful insight in this video. For me finding my connection to my work has been a real challenge. This ramble makes me want to reach out some folks that have worked with me in the past and just start playing and seeing what images we end up creating.
Just do it, it’s easer to work with someone you know
So many great images and wonderful models. Really really would love a giant fat coffee table photo book of your work! To see your photos in physical form. You could title it muses :-p
Coming 🙂
There were a lot of photos in this video I’ve never seen before. It was really cool to see some of the commercial work. I loved how you get a super unique look from each one of the models that starts to show through more and more as you go through the work with them.
Thanks so much
Wow, just wow! Yes please bring on that book Peter. Awesome to see all of the other shots. I don’t see the progression you talk about so much because even the stuff your not a fan of, is still so good. Every shot I would die to have in my portfolio.
I have to say I got one shot of Tiesha at a workshop of yours in Melbourne that was such a highlight just because it was her giving such a simple look. It’s great to see the models progressions in your images also.
Thanks Paul I have always loved shooting Teisha
I LOVE your work! I really enjoyed watching this, you are so inspiring…Thank you
Thank you
I loved this video. It was wonderful looking back at what you shot and seeing the transition of both model and you peter. I personally think that you are shooting the best work you have ever done at the minute. Inspirational to say the least!
Thank you so much Paul
this one is way better then the Youtube version. WOW RaRa has like a million looks, the more I see her the more I see that she can pose as anyone and sometimes I don’t even know it is her until I stop and look closer or scroll to the text with her name. The part at the end with Bec’s Eyes , the images flashed by fast and each time I just noticed the eyes not the rest of her. My eyes followed her eyes on the screen. Currently I don’t have a Muse, as she stopped modeling. Close to getting a new Muse.
It’s always easier when you have a muse that you can experiment and grow with.
Well today dec 23, I found my New Muse. I’ve shot 2 times prior to today with her, both were fun and productive. Today went to a new level, I had no idea it would be close to 8 hours in Studio. 1000+ images plus 24 Ilford B&W film pictures with my N2000 nikon and a Tamron 28-80 Lens
She brought a full suitcase of outfits and bags of shoes/boots etc. we did what she wanted and also what I wanted. We will shoot again for sure.
PS she contacted me for the shoot.
that’s awesome.
