V-Flats – The Set Up
One of Peter’s favourite ways of lighting is using v-flats to shade and manipulate light as he has so much control over it by how open or closed the v-flat is, by moving the light inside the v-flat or my using the dark side to bring in shading. He can do so many different looks and far more than he can using a softbox, so in this tutorial he shows you how he fine-tunes using a bare bulb and some v-flats to get the final look he is after.

Amazing what experience can teach us. perfect and flexible solution for us impoverished amateurs. bet this would work well for table top too. Thanks Peter and Bec.
“You can move the soft box but you can’t move the light within the soft box” …..brilliant 🙂
Thanks Steve
