Lighting With Mirrors Pt 2
Using only one constant light, watch how Peter inventively uses mirrors to turn it in to multiple lights. He is loving tethering with the Sony to Image Edge and how it allows him to shoot super fast catching those in between frames he might have usually missed, which in turn also helped with Abbey’s ongoing model training.

In trigging use of water to add to the shot. Do you ever use anything other than water to create the shine? What woudl be the reason to use something different?
Yeah I’ve used heaps of other things on mirrors like vaseline, plastic, and paint back in the days when I shot colour. Different products create different effects in the final photo
The emotion in Abbey’s face in those last shots was just amazing. Just ….wow wow wow. Abbey is almost a completely different model in this shoot compared to the first one.
I really need to remember to try that reset technique if it works that well. Thanks Abbey and Peter and Bec 🙂
Thanks heaps, getting the model to reset helps heaps 🙂
Thanks again for an amazing tutorial Peter. As always is was full of new learning for me. Just a quick question what is the name of continuous light you used in this shoot ?
