Anne Duffy Pt. 2
This tutorial is from a recent shoot with fine art nude model Anne Duffy. Peter has an ongoing joke with a lot of the nude models he works with that he will find them a rock to lay on, which is not his typical style (he prefers to put bunny heads on them), so running with the joke he created a faux rock out of blocks and grey paper for Anne to lie on!
The fly-on-the-wall tutorial is followed by an interview with Anne, plus Peter’s image selection and retouching.

Hi Peter, where do you find all those incredibly beautiful shots you use in your mood boards? I tried with Google but what came up was not even close. Pinterest maybe? Thank you.
Hi Paolo I’m putting up a new tutorial this week about this subject
Great Shoot, Love the look from the natural light shots.
The backdrop looks amazing also.
the ones with the light bounce off the floor looked very film noir, brilliant
Thanks so much
Peter… Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. Out of curiosity, what type of paper did you use for your “rocks’? I’m guessing its from a paper backdrop, but for all I know, you could have even been using roofing paper. 😉
Thanks for your continued excellent work that is equaled by your abilities as an educator. It’s a very unique set of qualities!
Thanks Ron it was just backdrop paper
Best use of horror lighting that I’ve seen! Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff would approve!n
