Meika Natural Light 2
Peter and the adorable Meika Woollard (Giant Management) are back again for this 2 part natural light tutorial, where Peter will show you how to see light on a models face, and then shapes the light using reflectors! He used Capture One for this tutorial as it has been highly requested, however he still cannot get his look in the software so it was taken with minimal settings so he can punch it up in post. Capture One was also very slow so we apologise some of the photos aren’t synced up from when he took them.
This is followed by Peter showing you the difference in RAW processing between ACR vs Capture One vs Phocus on the same image, and finally a retouch on the finished image.

Outstanding!
Thanks John
Hi Peter,
Excellent tutorial as always, so thank you for that.
I was just wondering what f stop you settled on, as you obviously chose you shutter speed and aperture before hand an then worked your iso for exposure.
Thanks
Phil
Hi Phil, it was shot at f/2.8
Every time, i am impressed how you play with light.
For me it is very helpful when you explain how light change as you move stuff around.
Meika is amazing! I wish her to become very successful!
You are a great team. Keep on!
Hope to see more of Meika working with you…as soon as you are allowed to shoot of course.
This was obviously not a shoot…nope, no one saw anyone doing a shoot here…
Greetings from Germany

Thank you so much Martin, we are finally allowed to shoot again so there will be more tutorials coming soon 🙂
Great stuff!!!! I can see the Peter Lindbergh way of shooting with continuous shooting is growing on you… lol
Anyway always great tutorial. Always learning.
Hope I can make a workshop in 2022.
Thanks heaps, I’m loving the continuous shooting because I’m getting those inbetween shots I never would have before. Glad you’re learning lots, and hope to see you at a workshop too 🙂
