Bounce Lighting – Retouch
In this tutorial, Peter wanted to play around with v-flats and bounce lighting – his favoruite. Join us as he plays with the lighting and I play around with my posing in my head to create different faces. This is followed by a retouch of our favoruite image from the shoot.

I enjoyed this video in many ways but the thrust of it was the way that Peter ended up with a shot and then a finished product that he is pleased with. Drawing attention to Bec’s face with the negative and then positive fill was helpful in showing how to model the face on set. Then while allowing Bec to pose the introduction of some suggestions to create a ‘better look’ done of course in a gentle way drew attention to how to make an image stronger as well as introducing a suggestion that while it did’nt work this time, might be something that Bec is able to incorporate for herself next time. The session with the collective editing of the photos was also extremely helpful in learning how to look at a photo and see what makes a great look. The retouching was extremely helpful for me – exhibiting how to enhance a photo quickly to draw the viewers attention even more. This was very rewarding viewing. Thankyou Peter and Bec
Thank you Max
