Recreating Light with Ana pt 1
Peter’s best advice for learning lighting is to find an image and copy their lighting as best you can, having a play with different techniques to achieve certain styles when creating your own work. This is something he still does, even though he has been doing this for a while now! In this tutorial, you will see his thought process to recreate the lighting from an image Ana picked out, and then how he tweaks it to make it his own.

I see you are rocking the camera up then down before each shutter. Is that because you are using eye AF the panning down to compose? Are you using a spot focus? Couldn’t you use a wider focus that would still nail the eyes? Not being critical at all. Just want to learn.
Thanks
Richard
The hasselblad H6D only has centre spot focus so thats focus then recompose
