Shooting And Training With Sylph
Sylph is a travelling fine art nude model from Canberra who we get don’t get to shoot with too often, but we’re lucky we got to catch up with her on her recent trip to Melbourne. As she works with a lot of photographers while travelling around, she is used to posing and holding as that is what she is mostly asked to do, as well as not using her eyes because she mostly does fine art nude which is expressionless. During the shoot, Peter spent a fair bit of time training her to drift and also have a thought with her eyes, to take her photos to the next level.

Intriguing demonstration of feels and how it works, will work on that
As an ‘eye photographer’ do you focus your attention predominantly on the models eyes when shooting or is it a mix? Loving the feels explanation and look forward to drilling more into this over time.
with portraiture soon as I see the eyes are right that’s what I take the picture but with fashion and dance I’m looking for the Silhouette first
Thanks a lot, perfect instructional/inspirational video for me. Let’s see if I can change my habits (and not just the experienced models’) as well.
