Why I Do What I Do
Peter often gets asked why he does certain things in his photos; why he chose a certain light, style, pose or crop. In this mentoring style of video, Peter talks about his thought process before taking a photo, and the reasons he does certain things in his art.

I think there may be an issue. It is requesting I log into Vimeo to view “if you have permission”.
Sorry I fixed the link, you can now view the video.
Thanks! Looks like its working on my end as well. Cheers!
Hey, Peter. How do we watch this video?
Regards.

Thank you Peter for the golden nuggets ….. of why I create what I create in-depth…start to finish
Hi Peter, very interesting. I think this is hard starting now to “reset” and avoid copying with all the pictures that we see every day or do you think this is just a mindset ?
I think it’s just a mindset, just like if you think of all the songs that have been written but new ones are still released. You can take the essence of a picture without copying it and then make it yours 🙂
This was great! I love seeing your earlier work that looks much different that what you are shooting now. Loved the discussion at the very end too of some of the ideas to come in 2021. Can’t wait!!!
Thanks heaps, so happy you enjoyed it
Great video. Thank you for the insight.
Great video guys, nice work !
Several of these videos have really resonated recently. I fell right into the trap of being driven by social media and perceptions about what would work. Having a full re-boot at the moment in a very off-line ‘what do I want to do’ way.
