Finding Your Style
This video was originally for YouTube however they blocked it unfortunately, but Peter felt the message was too important not to share.
Peter gets asked a lot about how to find and create your style, so in this rant he explains some things you can do to not let other people influence your style and stand out from other photographers.

Thanks, Peter! Life is too short for me to keep trying to please other people.
Absolutely Keith. Glad you enjoyed it and hope all is well
Not a lot of artists share so much of their process with anyone who wants to know. But, we know that I’ll never be Peter Coulson or will my art be the same—and that’s the beauty of art. Thank you again. Inspire is a very apt name for this channel.
Thanks Peter, its good to hear a reminder about getting out of our own way. I know I can be that person sometimes where I start to block creativity for a time.
Thanks Peter – I needed this!
This was great Peter. I still have a struggle with looking at everyone else’s work that get the “likes” and try and mimic the work instead of finding my own work within myself. It’s helped to stop looking at IG and even unfollow a lot of photographers so that I can try and find my own style, except I still follow you of course. Thanks for the Education.
Yes, and »Yes« to your advise …
» Shoot for yourself & don’t listen to anyone else «
So true, well said, Peter!
